Of all the...
For the last two years, I've had that first week slump. I'd slave and write and slave and write and then finally get frustrated. Then I'd work on mindless scene, just to keep up the word count. Last year it was a simple poker game that introduced me to Alex Sands and his lovely partner in crime fighting Frankie. This year it's video games! I don't even play these games. I don't have a PS2 or an Xbox... my book has gone sideways. It's still fic. It's still Atlantis. But on the bright side, I'm having a lot more fun. The Ancients may just have to wait.
